Four-piece period garment of dark taupe textured silk, fitted bodice, square neckline ornamented with gold metal linking, large full sleeves of quilted salmon cotton/silk brocade, detached inner-sleeves are constructed of matching textured silk, matching metal linking, gold bullion cording and cream silk organza, rear lace-up closure; floor-length skirt with train, matching textured silk, set at front with inset panel of matching quilted brocade; undergarment of gathered and layered cream organdy and pelon is built into the skirt. (The bodice has a fabric label which reads [1675 ANN BRENDON] and the skirt has a cloth label which reads [1604 2318 DEBORAH KERR]. Both inner-sleeves have cloth labels which read [1675 ANN BRENDON] and are sewn over cloth labels which read [DEBORAH KERR]).

Garment is seen with the character looking briefly out the window. The scene was probably edited down. This garment was later worn by Ann Brendon in the 1955 production of "Diane." Nominated for Best Costumes- Color, 1953.
