Two-piece Antebellum gown, fitted bodice, laced up the back closure, long flared sleeves, attached pleated flounces at front of bodice that circle around sides of skirt and hooks at back of skirt with self bow and tassels; 15 self-covered buttons at front, rows of scalloped crouched trim at cross-over neck tabs and sleeves, beige sheer fabric inner sleeves embroidered with white thread in a morning glory and foliate motif; extremely full matching, sheer fabric with morning glory and foliate motif, built over a pink silk under skirt. (Bias label inscribed "1692 5056 Elizabeth Taylor").
