Period costume, fitted wine colored silk faille waist-length jacket, rounded peaked lapel, fitted long sleeves, slight puff at shoulders, hooks that attach to inner shell blouse, ornament at front, back, shoulders and outer sleeves with cream colored bobbin cord lace; cream silk sleeveless shell, ecru lace design at front panel and stand up wired collar, full length skirt of wine, grey and black woven (upholstery-like material) with verticals sections of different hues, gussets, pleated details, ecru lace ornamentation at hem and part way up the PL side panel at front, intentional fraying at edges of panel at back, attached wine pleated silk belting at front with with red, black and gold enamel buckle with scrolling and foliate motif; round straw hat, wide brim with woven straw foliate and roaming ribbon detail on top and bottom, round low crown, heavily ornamented with feathers of brown, peach, grey and red surrounding crown; oval silver mourning brooch, glass window, hair design, small silver butterfly pin, various gold and silver chains.
