A full-length period gown with train of loosely crocheted beige silk and completely lined with a beige raw silk, constructed with great fullness throughout, ornamented with full-length bell-sleeves, beige crochet trim has been applied to sleeves, collar and bodice of the gown; hand fan with hand-carved ten inch handle (made from wood gathered from the FOREST OF TENTAGLE where the real King Arthur and Lady Guinevere were believed to have lived) and mounted with a lotus shaped fan of fine silk tulle stretched over heavy wire and embroidered with beige and brown wool thread creating a lead window effect, embroidered at both front and rear so no tie-offs can been seen. John Truscott was the first and is still the only man to receive the Academy Award for his achievements in costume and set design. Ms. Redgrave utilized these pieces in the musical number "Take me to The Fair."
