Two-piece period gown of black and gold consisting of underdress of black and gold brocade, fitted black sleeves, black quilted collar; matching short black cape, trimmed with a black satin cord, gold lamé cord and gold gilding in a geometric pattern.

This gown was worn in the Great Hall scene during the knighting of Sir Lancelot. John Truscott received the academy award for Best Costume Design for this film.
