Living Statue costume of an Astrologer from the scene in Empress Cixi's throne room. The costume consists of an outer robe of rich gold Indian raw silk, Indian ivory silk collar woven with silver threads, wide sleeves ending in Chinese silk turquoise blue cuffs woven with yellow dragons, white silk lining weighted at the hem. Tagged inside two of the robes "Last Emperor-Astrologer;" white rayon under robe, silk collar, padded silk sleeves; and a gold gilt wire mesh Court Hat, of rectangular shape, two folds in front, applied stamped metal floral appliques, gold silk cord tie.
