Description

Walking dress [C412-1/5] yellow wool jacket with long sleeve and one button closure; [C412-2/5] taupe wool crepe skirt with attached brown and white stripe silk sleeveless shell with bow detail at neckline and [C412-3/5 ] self belt; [C412-5/5] taupe felt pillbox style had ornamented at front with self bow, yellow faille ribbon and rhinestone clip (Hat may not be original to costume.) The costume was originally designed for Ann Miller as seen in a costume sketch. The costume was actually worn by Patricia Vanever strolling on the street and is seen walking past Judy Garland.
