Description
Evening ensemble consisting of a floor-length strapless gown and sequined floor length coat. The tan crêpe gown, which is gathered at the bust-line, was created by Bob Mackie. Complementing the gown is a floor-length duster with dolman sleeves. The duster is solidly ornamented with gold celluloid sequins in a fish scale pattern and embroidered throughout with minute gold caviar beads in a floral motif.

The duster was executed by Elizabeth Cortney over a period of many months due to the scarcity of the gold celluloid sequins. Worn at the 1987 People's Choice Awards where Ms. Shepherd won a award for Favorite All Round Female Performer and Favorite Female TV Performer.
