A custom-made two-piece period peasant dress of brown and forest green wool, [C048- 1/3] fully stayed bodice, extremely fitted, three-quarter-length sleeves, off-white linen large collar and cuff, front lace-up closure with self fabric cord (slight fraying at cord in places- Collar has been changed); [CC048- 2/3] floor-length full brown wool skirt, inset with a seven and one-half inch horizontal panel of forest green wool. Fabric label sewn onto inner salvage seam of skirt reads [1 27 7 5580 Linda Darnell 540-05]; prop white cotton multi-layered petticoat. (Western Costume label and 20th Century Fox label sewn into the garment).
