Custom-made brown and tan plaid three-piece suit consisting of matching jacket, vest and slacks. The jacket has high cut peaked lapel, two lower rounded flap pockets, trimmed with three buttons at front closure, two brown buttons at sleeves. The jacket is inscribed in the inner left sleeve [SUIT 78] and in the inner right sleeve [SUIT 34] and label has been removed from inner pocket; matching vest, trimmed with six brown buttons, two slash pockets (UNITED COSTUMER'S label faintly inscribed "[784C JOHN WAYNE"); matching flat front pants, button fly, brown buttons at waist band

All three pieces have CHRISTIES' auction tags which read [14 DEC 89 SALE 6933, LOT 591]. Check with garment for costumer tags.
