A two-piece period hoop skirt gown, beige silk bodice attached to full black wool/silk skirt, ornamented with black velvet and cording; beige wool fitted jacket ornamented at shoulders and peplum with cream velvet and satin embroidery. (Two cloth labels are sewn into the garment which reads [1375 A. DAHL] and MGM cleaning tag).

This piece also worn by Arlene Dahl in Inside Straight as Lily Douvane, MGM, 1951, MGM. No costume designer listed for "Inside Straight" probably because all the pieces were pulled from previous films, i.e.. Paula Raymond wore the piece from "Mrs. Parkinton," Mercedez MacCambridge wore the costume from "Sea of Grass," "Gaslight" costume was supposedly also worn in the film.
